Survey says: ‘Family Feud’ to hold Phoenix tryouts in January

PHOENIX – It’s time to play – “Family Feud,” Phoenix.

The long-running game show is coming to the Valley for tryouts Jan. 19-20, but families need to plan ahead.

Wannabe contestants must apply online and submit a video showing why their clan should appear on the Steve Harvey-hosted show.

Producers will then make appointments with selected families, who will get the chance to play a mock version of the game during the tryouts.

What are the producers looking for? Survey says:

• Energy.
• Enthusiasm.
• Ability to play the game.

The video should be around 3-5 minutes long and highlight what makes your family special.

To be eligible, a team needs five family members related by blood, marriage or adoption and be U.S. citizens or have permission to work in the U.S.

While there is no age requirement, the show suggests that contestants be at least 15 years old because of the nature of some questions.
