Rapper Meek Mill to come to Phoenix in first tour since prison release

PHOENIX — Rapper Meek Mill will come to Phoenix as part of his first tour since being released from prison earlier this year.
The 31-year-old will perform at the Comerica Theatre on Feb. 26, the fourth of 16 stops on The Motivation Tour.
Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public on Friday.
Mill was released from prison in late April after spending almost five months incarcerated for a probation violation.

He has stayed in limelight since because of this continued presence on the top of the rap charts. He also wrote a column for the New York Times on Monday advocating for a reform in the country’s criminal justice system.
“Dangerous,” the first single off Mill’s next album, “Championships,” was No. 57 this week on Billboard’s Hot 100.
“Championships” is set to come out on Friday.
The tour will begin in Miami on Feb. 19 and end in Atlanta on Mar. 24.
