Silver Alert issued for Phoenix-area man missing for days

PHOENIX — Authorities issued a Silver Alert late Tuesday for an Avondale man who hasn’t been seen or heard from in nearly a week.

Henry Ramirez, 75, may be in the early stages of dementia. His truck was found near Estrella Parkway and Calistoga Drive.

A niece called police Monday to report Ramirez had been missing since Oct. 5 and that other family members had found the truck.

Ramirez stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has gray hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information about Ramirez should call Avondale Police at 623-333-7001.
