PHOENIX — See a downed tree or other debris blocking a Phoenix road?
The city is asking residents to report any and all road issues following Tropical Depression Rosa so crews can handle them right away.
Monica Hernandez, city spokeswoman, said anyone spotting a road issue can call 602-262-6441.
Callers will be asked to report the type of issue and the specific location of the debris or other problem.

“Our goal is to ensure that the roadways do remain safe, open and passable, and we’ve got crews that are out there inspecting roadways, to again ensure that they are safe for all of the people that are using them, and at the same time we are asking that the community will also help us identify where those problem areas are at,” Hernandez told KTAR News 92.3 FM on Tuesday.
Hernandez said the phone line is open 24 hours to ensure the city can respond to problems quickly.
The hotline is only to report issues with roads — house, yard and other damage is not included.
Hernandez said the city hasn’t seen as many downed trees as they have in past events, but there are other problems like potholes caused by the storm and resulting flooding.
“This (hotline) does not only apply to downed trees or debris, if you see something else, an issue in the roadway, a sign that has moved, twisted, fallen, any type of issue in the roadway please let us know,” Hernandez said.
