PHOENIX– What will your dog dress up as for Halloween this year?

The “Howl-O-Ween” dog costume parade is coming to Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix on Oct. 28.

Dress your dogs up to celebrate at the all-ages event, which also will feature live music, food trucks, cash bars and more.

It’s free to attend the festivities, but there is a fee to participate in the parade. Registration prices start at $20, which includes a discount drink ticket for the human.

All proceeds from the parade will go to the One Community, Arizona Animal Welfare League and 100 Club nonprofit organizations.

The dog costume parade is inspired by the Barkus Marti Gras dog parade in New Orleans.

Bluetooth speakers, outside food or drinks, dogs that are not registered and, of course, cats are not allowed.

The party runs from 2-6 p.m., with the parade embarking at 3 p.m. A costume contest awards ceremony will begin at 4:15 p.m.

We want to hear from you.
