Flagstaff police searching for child that may be missing
The Flagstaff Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a child that may be missing.
PHOENIX – The Flagstaff Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a child that may be missing.
According to a release, a manager of a Safeway located off of North Highway 89 in Flagstaff received a call around 10:42 p.m. Friday night from a woman claiming that her 6-year-old son was left at the store by mistake.
The manager notified the mother that she would be contacting the police for assistance.
Shortly after, the unidentified mother abruptly hung up the phone, according to police.
The boy, Timmy White, was said to be wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. When police checked video surveillance they saw a boy matching the description, but have been unable to locate the alleged mother that contacted the store.
Police are looking to identify and speak with two individuals that were seen with the boy to ensure that he is unharmed and not in danger.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the two individuals or the boy are asked to contact the Flagstaff Police Department.
