PHOENIX — Comedian and actor Kevin Hart had big news Monday: he’s bringing his Irresponsible tour to Phoenix in the summer.

Hart was scheduled to play Talking Stick Resort Arena on July 1. Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. Arizona time.

Hart’s previous tour, What Now in 2015-2016, racked up over $100 million in sales worldwide. Before the show even began, it was on track to become the highest-grossing comedy tour of all time.

That tour didn’t make it to Phoenix, although it did hit the West with stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, the Bay Area and Seattle, among others.

He became the first comedian to headline an NFL Stadium, when he played Lincoln Financial Field in his Philadelphia hometown.

That sold-out performance was filmed and made into a documentary.

Hart is coming off a busy, successful year. His memoir, “I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons,” debuted atop the New York Times’ best-seller list.

He finished the year with a co-starring role in “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” along with Dwayne Johnson. The movie has pulled in $822 million worldwide at the box office.

We want to hear from you.
