Olivia Newton-John makes her return to the Valley

It’s going to be “An Evening with Olivia Newton-John” when she takes the stage in Arizona Saturday.

On Oct. 8, the singer, songwriter and actress will perform at The Ballroom at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale.

Her trip out to the Valley might not have happened after she was diagnosed with breast cancer back in May. She had to postpone a number of her shows for treatment, but is now back onstage. She was more than 20 years in remission before the cancer resurfaced.

Newton-John has won four Grammys, while being nominated for a total of 12. She has multiple No. 1 hits, including “Physical” and “I Honestly Love You” and has sold more than 100 million albums.
