Silver Alert canceled after missing Surprise man found

William Penn, 86, was last seen Friday at about 4 p.m. according to the Surprise Police Department. He is believed to be driving a 2006 green Toyota Sienna.

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert has been canceled for a man who was reported missing from Surprise, Arizona.

William Penn, 86, was reported missing Friday after having last been seen at about 4 p.m. according to the Surprise Police Department. He was located on Saturday.

A family member said the 86-year-old Penn has been diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

He was in an accident?
Better solution to curbing vehicle accidents would be to implement a hands-free, no texting while driving, law. Roundabouts help, also, while saving you money.

I hope not. I hope he is found safe. People in this city just can't seem to figure out how roundabouts work. Have one by the house and there seems to be accidents weekly. Point is, people in his mental state shouldn't have access to a car and I agree with the texting while driving law, just don't understand why they cant get one to pass.

Why are these folks with Alzheimer's and dementia still slowed access to cars. Please take the keys away before the kill someone or themselves.
