John McCain spends time outdoors with Lieberman, Graham

PHOENIX — Arizona Sen. John McCain spent some time with family and friends this weekend, sharing images on Twitter in the company of former Sen. Joe Lieberman and Sen. Lindsey Graham.

It was announced Friday that McCain, who has an aggressive form of brain cancer, finished his first round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

That didn’t stop McCain from getting in the water.

The 80-year-old also spent some time with family.

In the past week, McCain was one of several to tweet out their response to President Donald Trump’s remarks on the violence in Charlottesville, Va.

McCain was also called out by Trump during a press conference Tuesday.

“You mean Senator McCain who voted against us getting good health care?” Trump said.
