Main Street Minute: New Grand Canyon helicopter tour available

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Arizona’s Children Association has more than 40 job openings throughout the Valley. Open positions include case managers, clinicians, childcare workers and a medical director. You can apply online here.
• Barbecue for backpacks: Famous Dave’s is offering a free brisket sandwich to anyone who drops off a new, book-size backpack at any of its four Valley locations. The back-to-school supply drive to benefit Southwest Human Development runs through the end of the month.
• Grand Canyon Helicopters just launched its newest tour. The “Heli and Whitewater Rafting Adventure” starts with a chopper ride from McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas to Peach Springs, Arizona. Then, a boat ride on the Colorado River and another helicopter ride along the Grand Canyon. This tour runs through Oct. 31.
