PHOENIX — If you’ve ever listened to Bon Jovi and you’ve enjoyed what was played, then you might want to thank a Phoenix community member.

Joe Dorosz was the drum tech for the band, and according to WMTR, he is back in his Phoenix home recovering from spinal fusion surgery following a stroke.

Bon Jovi has since announced that they will match every dollar that is donated on a GoFundMe page for Dorosz.

The fundraiser is set up to help Dorosz and his family with costs of treatment and recovery.

Dorosz has also worked with Prince, The Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain, Poison, Kenny G, Backstreet Boys, The Black Crowes, Lionel Richie, Britney Spears, and Whitney Houston among others.

Dorosz was able to visit with Bon Jovi when the group performed on March 4 in Phoenix.

The $75,000 goal has not been reached yet.
