• International House of Pancakes is celebrating its own national pancake day by serving up free short stacks and giving to charity. Customers are invited to donate to Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Tuesday to help the restaurant chain raise $3.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals nationwide.
• A Valley-based e-commerce company is expanding nationally. Chandler’s NewACunit.com has opened services to Houston, Dallas and Atlanta. The company offers customers a way to purchase new air conditioning units online with installation included.
• Oscar Health is going on a hiring spree in metro Phoenix. The Phoenix Business Journal reported the New York-based insurance company plans to add at least 150 employees this year. Oscar is hiring registered nurses and care guides as it prepares to launch its service to small businesses next month.
