Federal officials searching for ‘Blues Bandit’ involved in Phoenix-area bank robberies

PHOENIX — Officials are asking the public to come forward with any information regarding a serial bank robber in the Phoenix area.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking the public to come forward with information regarding the “Blues Bandit,” a serial bank robber who is suspected of robbing six banks in the Phoenix area since October.
The suspect is described as a man and has worn a suit, fedora-style hat and glasses during each of his robberies. The suspect has also worn gloves or used BandAids to prevent leaving fingerprints behind.
The robberies have taken place in Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona. They began on Oct. 3 and the latest robbery happened on March 2 in Phoenix.
FBI officials are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the suspect.
