Silver Alert canceled, Phoenix man found safe

PHOENIX — A missing Phoenix man with a medical condition has been found safe, canceling a Silver Alert shortly after it was issued.

Michael Michalski, 68, nicknamed “Frenchy,” went missing from the area of 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard on Thursday around 7:30 p.m.

He was found near Pecos Road and 32nd Street on Friday morning.

Michalski requires medication for his condition.
