• The New Residence Inn-Courtyard in downtown Phoenix is holding a job fair on Friday from noon. until 4 p.m. The hotel is looking for front-desk agents, a chief engineer, sales coordinator, catering manager, kitchen staff and more. The interviews will be held at the Wyndham Garden Midtown near Central Avenue and Osborn Road.

• A flooring provider has a new design center and distribution facility in Phoenix. JR McDade Company opened an 81,000 square-foot building near 40th Street and Broadway Road.
