Main Street Minute: Car wash chain will clean vehicles of military personnel for free

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Amazon is holding a hiring event Thursday in west Phoenix. The job program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Goodwill Career Center near 51st Avenue and Van Buren.

• In honor of Veterans Day, Jackson’s Car Wash in the Valley is giving all active military members and veterans free car washes Friday. There are 11 locations in the Phoenix area. The company wants to give away at least 500 washes on the day.
