PHOENIX — Early voting begins Wednesday and there are three ways to cast your ballot.

Elizabeth Bartholomew with the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office said that people who are interested in voting early can either sign up for a mail-in ballot or go to one of the 25 early polling stations across the county, which are listed on their website. She said about 16 of them open Wednesday and the rest will open up next week.

“If you’re going to go early and vote in person it’s just like you’re going to a polling place,” Bartholomew said. “You just need some kind of identification and the primary form is your driver’s license.”

If you don’t have a driver’s license, she said alternate forms of ID are listed on their website. In-person early voting ends Nov. 4.

Mail-in ballots are being mailed out Wednesday and if you’re on the permanent early ballot list, you should be receiving it within the next few days. Bartholomew said it’s not too late sign up for an early ballot, just go to the recorder’s website.

The final way to vote is in person on Election Day, Nov. 8.

“You will have to go to your assigned polling place,” she said. “We will send out sample ballots 11 days before the election to every single voter who is not on the permanent early voting list.”

And in case you want to receive your “I voted” sticker, you must either vote in person, either early or on Election Day, or drop off your mail-in ballot to your polling location.

On that sample ballot will be your designated polling location. For more information, visit their website or call 602-506-1511.
