Main Street Minute: Sales positions at job fair, auction selling office furniture

• Peoria Police Department will break ground Thursday morning on a brand new facility. The 17,000-square-foot facility will be located on Lake Pleasant Parkway near Pinnacle Peak, and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2017.

• Surplus Asset Management is auctioning new and showroom quality furnishings and equipment from a local store that’s closing its doors. The office furniture auction starts at 10:30 a.m. Thursday near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

• Revana Tempe is hiring customer service and sales agents. The job fair runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday near Elliot and Kyrene roads.
