For nearly 70 years the Miracle Mile has been serving the best in sandwiches and other specialty items.

Now, Phoenix mayor Greg Stanton has made May 10 “Miracle Mile Deli Day” to celebrate the tradition of the long-standing local business according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

A local nonprofit organization called Feeding Matters that raises awareness of pediatric feeding struggles will receive proceeds from the day.

Miracle Mile Deli has had various locations since their original store opened in 1949.

Their home location at the Camelback Colonnade was moved to a new space at the corner of 16th Street and Campbell, just south of Camelback.

If you are interested in visiting Miracle Mile Deli, you can check out their website for more information and their menu, which includes specialty sandwiches such as The Straw and New Yorker.
