A judge’s decision to allow live-tweeting during the Jodi Arias sentencing retrial has provided instant fact sharing from inside the courtroom at the Maricopa County Superior Court.
Tweets from the first week included the order of events in the actual murder and the graphic nature of the photos of Travis Alexander’s body that were shown to the jury.
The second week of the penalty-phase retrial began Oct. 27. Tweets took note of the replaying of a titillating phone conversation between Arias and Alexander and emotional testimony from Alexander’s brother and sister. Finally, the judge cleared the courtroom for a witness’ testimony.
