Samy Bouzaglo, founder of Amy’s Baking Company, allegedly threatened a patron with a knife outside of his restaurant on Saturday, as first reported by TMZ.

The person who shot the video says a drunk guy was eating at the Scottsdale restaurant when Samy’s wife Amy Bouzaglo became enraged and ordered him to leave — and he did.

The aftermath was caught on video as Bouzaglo can be seen brandishing a small weapon while his wife attempted to restrain him.

The Bouzaglos told TMZ the object in Samy’s hand is a pen.

Scottsdale Police were called to the restaurant on Saturday for a disturbance caused by a intoxicated man. Police spokesman David Pubins said the man had left before the officers arrived.

Amy’s Baking Company is no stranger to controversy. The company came under public scrutiny for its responses to negative customer reviews on Yelp that including name calling.

The company gained national attention and scrutiny after it appeared on FOX’s “Kitchen Nightmares.”
