Video: Americans spent $131 billion online shopping leading up to the holiday season

Between Nov. 1 and Dec. 2, American consumers spent a total of $131 billion online, which is a 9% increase from last year. The nation’s largest operator of brick-and-mortar shopping malls reported a 6.4% increase in foot traffic between Black Friday and Sunday compared to 2023 numbers.
