CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company, formerly SCF Arizona, is more than just a business — it’s also a community leader.
According to Phyllis Senseman, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, CopperPoint is a “good community partner,” even setting up a free blog that any business owner can access, even if he or she isn’t a client of the mutual insurance company.
“An employer needs to understand their risk,” Senseman said of the HR-centric blog.
CopperPoint Mutual also focuses heavily on charities and volunteer work, even allowing their employees paid time off each year to volunteer at various organizations. The company also offers a $500 matching contribution to an employee’s organization of choice.
