Dear Diary: Do we really know if Chris Christie is a bad man?

The good news for Christie is that he was included in a strange woman’s diary. The bad news, it’s not for the reasons most men would normally hope for.
Granted, it’s becoming tough keeping up with all of Christie’s alleged scandals and tougher defending the likely 2016 GOP presidential candidate. With that being said, the latest one seems a bit suspicious to me.
According to Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer, Christie directly threatened to withhold Superstorm Sandy relief aid from her city if she refused to back a pet real estate project of his. Why are we to believe her? She kept a diary.
If he truly withheld desperately needed relief aid from the people she swore to serve and defend, why is she waiting until now to release this information? If she is a champion for the plight of her people and if the people she represents were being kept from critical financial resources, I would think she would have come out with this information when the alleged threats were made against her. Why should she be believed?
Oh that’s right. I keep forgetting about that darn diary filled with chicken scratch. Give me some blank pages, different colored pens and an hour and I can come up with a year of diary entries that could indict anyone.
