Deputies seized about $350,000 in cash, 800 lbs. of marijuana and guns in an undercover drug operation, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
Information from a previous case led deputies to the residence, where the currency was found in several suitcases. A semi-automatic rifle and pistol were also recovered.
“We will continue to crackdown on major drug traffickers,” said Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. “In
the near future, we will also concentrate on street level dealers using a special unit of deputies and crime suppression operations.”
Four suspects were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and conspiracy to commit possession of marijuana for sale.
