Main Street Minute: Gilbert restaurant hiring 130 workers

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• An East Valley restaurant with 130 openings will host a three-day job fair beginning Monday. The hiring event at Barrio Queen at 388 Gilbert Road, Gilbert, will start at 2 p.m. The downtown eatery was scheduled to open later this month.

• Five Arizona golf pros will be instructors for the Golf Channel Academy, which begins its national rollout this week. Jeff Fisher Fisher Bryan Golf Academy, Longbow G.C., Mesa; Lynn Marriott VISION54, Talking Stick G.C., Scottsdale; Pia Nilsson VISION54, Talking Stick G.C., Scottsdale; Mark Polich Mark Polich Golf, Tucson and Craig Renshaw Legacy Golf Performance Center, Phoenix, were tapped to teach. Besides lessons, golfers can also sign up for video tips.
