Main Street Minute: Hassle-free home sales site expanding

• After two months of success in Phoenix, a San Francisco startup company that pays cash for homes will expand. OpenDoor will move into Portland, Oregon, and Dallas in the coming months. The company uses public data to make offers on homes and is averaging one home purchase a day in the Valley.

• An East Valley satellite campus linked to a Chicago university will cut the ribbon to its recruitment center Thursday. Classes at Saint Xavier University in Gilbert are expected to begin in the fall.
