KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Updates are underway on Capital Canyon Golf Club, the nearly century-old private club in Prescott, with the clubhouse and a modern fitness center scheduled to open in May. The golf course at the former Hassayampa Golf Club will be ready for play by the Fourth of July holiday.

• More pizza! Pieology served up its first slices over the weekend in Avondale. It’s the custom-pizza chain’s second location in Arizona and first in the Valley.

• Farnsworth Wholesale’s showroom in Gilbert near Country Club Drive and Baseline Road has changed its name and look. The renovated showroom at Expressions Home Gallery offers kitchen and bath products, plumbing fixtures, hardware and appliances from the industry’s top brands.
