Main Street Minute: Women in tech conference set for Phoenix

• The annual Forbes Travel Guide star-rating list dropped some top honors on Kai restaurant at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass resort and spa. Kai was the only Arizona restaurant and one of only 38 in the country to receive the five-star award. It is the seventh consecutive year Kai scored the rating. The resort’s Aji Spa received four-stars, also continuing a seven-year streak.
• Silicon Valley-based nonprofit Girls in Tech will host its annual Catalyst Conference in Phoenix next month at Hotel Palomar. Some of the world’s top female leaders in the tech industry are scheduled to speak at the event April 26-28.
• The Bureau of Land Management awarded a one-year, $1.5 million contract to the nonprofit Glen Canyon Natural History Association to run tours at the canyon and its power plant.
