Feb 11, 2015, 5:14 PM | Updated: 5:14 pm

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• The East Valley will be the testing site for grocery pick-up service from Wal-Mart. One store in Chandler and two in Mesa will allow customers to order groceries online and then pick them up at the store.

• Commercial-grade 3-D printers will be available soon in Valley UPS stores, starting at the Tatum and Shea boulevards location in Phoenix.

• Site preparation in Chandler has been completed where a six-story hotel will go up near the Loop 101 and 202 interchange. A mixed-use development, which will include housing, office space and a central plaza, breaks ground within the next several weeks.
