Main Street Minute: Job fair set for Mesa hotel

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Jobertising.com is hosting the East Valley Diversity Job Fair on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event takes place at the Phoenix Marriot Mesa Hotel. Companies including Nextiva, Fry’s Food Stores, Aramark and Quicken Loans will be on hand.

• Students from Florence High School raised $1,400 to help children from Against Abuse, Inc. The student council was also able to provide clothes and toys to 19 kids. Against Abuse is a local organization that helps children and families in need.

• The Arizona Coyotes are partnering with Valley BMW dealers, renaming the rinkside club at Gila River Arena the BMW i Lounge.
