Main Street Minute: Chandler spruces up streets with new bus shelters

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on businesses in the Phoenix area that are hiring, opening and hosting events. These stories can be heard each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• UPS is hiring for several full-time positions. The shipment company needs sales representatives and seasonal drivers as well as driver assistants. Drivers and assistants need to be able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds.

• The city of Chandler is upgrading 22 bus shelters. The shelters are being installed at some of the most heavily used bus stops and will provide better shading and more seating than typical bus stops.
