Main Street Minute: Sandwich chain donating day’s sales to hospital

• All Jersey Mike’s Subs locations across the Valley are donating Wednesday’s sales to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Jersey Mike’s hosts a day of giving each year, and raised $55,000 for the hospital last year on the special day. There are 18 shops in the Valley.
• Glendale Community College is holding a job fair Wednesday. Fifty employers will be on hand, including UPS, Macayo’s, Century Link, the Department of Corrections, Wells Fargo and the YMCA. The job fair is free and will be held at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union.
• Petco is hiring for several locations across the Valley. The store needs stylists and stylist assistants. Stylists must have at least a year of grooming experience.
