Main Street Minute: Hospital, resort have job openings

KTAR’s Road to Recovery focuses on local businesses that are hiring, new businesses that are opening and events across the community. Each weekday Road to Recovery stories will air on KTAR at 7:27 a.m. More information on those stories can be found below.

• The Westin Kierland resort in Scottsdale is hiring. More than 60 full and part time positions are available. Openings include servers, cooks, supervisors and managers.

• Phoenix Children’s Hospital is hiring. The hospital needs a speech pathologist, surgical technicians, and several dieticians. Proper certification is required, along with experience in the chosen field.

• St. Mary’s Food Bank is teaming up with the Cactus League to offer discounted seats at select spring training games this week. Fans who bring a donation of three canned food items can buy a ticket and get one free. At Monday night’s Chicago White Sox at Milwaukee Brewers game at Maryvale Ballpark, fans can also save $4 dollars with a donation.
