Main Street Minute: Mesa building hotel near Gateway Airport

• The City of Mesa announced plans to build a Courtyard Marriott near Ray and Power roads, close to Gateway Airport and the Loop 202. The hotel will have about 100 rooms and is expected to be completed by early 2015.

• The Arizona Rattlers are offering $1 tickets Friday to their season-opener March 15, when the two-time defending league champions face the Philadelphia Soul at US Airways Center. Use the promo code “sellout” at ticketmaster.com to get the deal.
