Main Street Minute: Phoenix taco restaurant hiring

KTAR’s Road to Recovery focuses on local businesses that are hiring, new businesses that are opening and events across the community. Each weekday Road to Recovery stories will air on KTAR at 7:27 a.m. More information on those stories can be found below.

• The Taco Guild in Phoenix is looking to hire about 10 workers. The restaurant/pub needs cooks and other backroom staff. Pay starts at about $10 an hour but can go up. Applications are available online.

• The largest solar plant built for the Department of Defense has been completed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson. Bloomberg News reported the solar farm will supply 35 percent of the base’s electricity and will save the base about $500,000 a year for the next 25 years.
