Two 4.0-plus earthquakes recorded near Arizona-Mexico border

PHOENIX — Two earthquakes shook part of the Arizona-Mexico border Wednesday, but no damage has been reported.
The United States Geological Survey said the 4.0-plus quakes happened about 25 miles south of Mexicali, Mexico and 65 miles from Yuma, Arizona.
The quakes were reported just after 12:30 p.m.
Hundreds of earthquakes occur in Arizona annually, though few are felt.
