Valley highs could hit the 90s this week

With beautiful weather and temperature steady in the 80s this week, it seems like summer is coming early.
The Valley is actually on track to record its first 90-degree day of 2015. According to the Weather Channel, March 11 could be the first day Phoenix reaches 90 degrees. March 16 is currently expected to go beyond 90 degrees, with temperatures around 92 degrees.
With the heat also comes concerns about child safety. As the heat arrives, many parents begin to suffer from “Forgotten Baby Syndrome.” This happens when parents leave their kids in cars when scrambling around in the heat or let them get too close to a pool.
Best practices include keeping an extra close watch on children around a pool and constructing barriers to keep them out.
