Holdout juror worries for safety after address posted online

PHOENIX — The holdout juror of the Jodi Arias resentencing trial told Phoenix police that she was concerned for her safety after her address and phone number were posted online.
A police spokesman said Juror 17 filed Thursday night to have trespassers arrested if they set foot on her property. The authority to arrest for trespass request was filed just hours after a mistrial was declared.
Eleven jurors voted in favor of the death penalty for Arias, which required a unanimous decision. Instead the impasse resulted in a prison term of at least 25 years for Arias, convicted for the 2008 murder of her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander.
After the court proceedings, one juror said the holdout had admitted to watching part of a cable movie about the case. Another said the holdout implied the death penalty was a “form of revenge.”
Local TV news reported Juror 17’s husband said she was very upset.
Juror 17 also reiterated that she did want to be interviewed by the media.
