Phoenix named top city for health care job seekers

PHOENIX — Phoenix is the No. 1 city in the nation for those looking to get a job in the health care industry, according to ZipRecruiter.com.
ZipRecruiter, an online job distribution service based out of Santa Monica, California, recently released a list of the 10 best cities for health care jobs, with Phoenix taking the top spot.
Behind Phoenix, Sacramento, California; Tampa, Florida; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Hartford, Connecticut rounded out the top five.
ZipRecruiter created its list based on the ratio of health care jobs compared to other jobs combined with the number of health care companies in each city.
The federal government estimated approximately 3 million health care jobs will be added to the industry by 2022.
