A 4-year-old Scottsdale boy nearly drowned in a swimming pool after his grandparents lost track of him Sunday, the Scottsdale Fire Department reported.
The grandparents reportedly found the boy face-down in their pool. When paramedics arrived at the scene, the boy had been removed from the water by his grandparents and was conscious and alert. It is unclear how long the boy was in the water before being rescued.
Paramedics transported the boy to Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center. The Scottsdale Fire Department declined to comment on his condition.
