PHOENIX — A Valley couple started Valentine’s Day weekend on the right foot Friday by getting engaged on national television.
Nate Hunter appeared on “Good Morning America” to propose to his girlfriend, Gabby Custis.
Hunter entered a contest to surprise Custis with a wedding proposal of a lifetime. He, along with 24 others, were selected by the show.
The couples were flown to New York City under the guise of attending a concert.
On Friday morning, the couples were treated to ice skating before singer Christina Perri performed “A Thousand Years.” In the middle of the song, all 25 proposers, Hunter included, got down on one knee and popped the question.
Of course, all the surprised significant others said yes.
