Glendale apartment fire hospitalizes two, triggers meth investigation

Two young people were hospitalized Wednesday after a Glendale apartment burst into flames.
Fire units arrived on the scene after 9-1-1 calls reported multiple loud explosions from the apartment, which was located at 5202 W. Thunderbird Road.
The victims of the fire, a 21-year-old female and a 20-year-old male, are being investigated for cooking of methamphetamine. Police are also on scene after hazardous materials were found inside the apartment.
