Former ‘Moesha’ star gets probation in Scottsdale DUI case

PHOENIX — An actor who starred on the late 1990s show “Moesha” has pleaded guilty to DUI and was sentenced to 12 months of probation, a court official said.

Marcus Paulk was stopped near Indian School and Drinkwater roads just after midnight Feb. 1 after nearly colliding with a Scottsdale fire truck on the side of the road.

Police said Paulk blew a .109 during a field sobriety test and had a small bag of marijuana in his pocket. Paulk told police he had been drinking and using the drug prior to the traffic stop.

Paulk starred on “Moesha” from 1996-2001. His IMDB page showed he has been playing small roles since then.
