Since 2006, the Phoenix Suns and APS have teamed up to renovate 11 basketball courts throughout Arizona via an initiative called The Rebound Project.
Their most recent renovation: a court at the Osborn Complex near 17th Street and Adams Street near the Suns’ arena in downtown Phoenix. Nearly 700 children live at or near the low-income complex.
To celebrate the renovation’s recent completion, Suns forwards P.J. Tucker and T.J. Warren stopped by to shoot some hoops with the neighborhood kids.
“One of our goals is to provide Valley youth with a safe and enjoyable recreational experience,” Suns president Jason Rowley told the Phoenix Business Journal.
“We take pride in giving back, especially when we can do so right here in our backyard.”
