Whether or not you can trace your roots back to the Emerald Isle, everyone likes joining in on all the fun St. Patrick’s Day brings on Thursday.

Even if you can’t walk around telling passersby to give you a big smooch because your ancestors hail from Ireland, we’re pretty sure you’re still allowed a pint and some shepherd’s pie.

WhereShouldWeEat.com has compiled a list of our favorite Phoenix-area restaurants and/or pubs where you can enjoy some traditional Irish grub or hang out with your best friends — Jameson, Bailey’s and Guinness.

So kiss that Blarney Stone, pick a lucky shamrock or even dress like a leprechaun (not the scary one from the movie) and head out to one of these Irish places to celebrate St. Patrick removing all the snakes from Ireland (yes, we know that’s not true).

You might just find your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
