“Survivor” is back for its 30th edition and a Scottsdale man will be trying to win that million-dollar prize.
The 18-person cast will be broken up into three “tribes” based on their occupations — white collar, blue collar or no collar.
Joe Anglim, a 25-year-old jewelry designer from Scottsdale, is with the no-collar tribe.
According to a bio at the show site, Anglim played indoor volleyball at Northern Arizona University.
Each group has its own set of stereotypes that will either play out or be squashed as the season unfolds.
The white-collar Masaya Tribe is expected to be the rule makers while the no-collar Nagote Tribe is expected to be the rule breakers.
Those in the blue-collar Escameca Tribe are supposed to be rule followers.
The new season, set in Nicaragua, premieres Feb. 25 with a 90-minute episode. The show is in its 15th season.
