• Beginning this week, the public will be able to pick up a bike in Mesa and ride it around. It’s part of the Grid Bike Share program, which will be expanding to the East Valley city. Service will start Thursday. Fee choices are hourly, monthly and by semester.

• Veterans in the Valley can get free dental care Saturday. Midwestern University dental school students will be on hand at the Aspen Dental office near 77th avenue and Bell Road. Dentists will supervise. Prospective patients must set up an appointment.
