PHOENIX — Republican frontrunner Donald Trump will make his third campaign stop in the Phoenix area prior to Arizona’s March 22 presidential preference election.

A firm date and location have not been set, but a source has said Trump will be in the Valley on Saturday. As of Wednesday morning, Trump’s website did not list any planned rallies.

Despite the lack of details, the human rights organization Puente is planning to protest the event, according to a recent Facebook post.

Trump has already visited Phoenix and Mesa during this election cycle.

An event in July drew a massive crowd and forced the New York billionaire to shift venues from the Arizona Biltmore to the Phoenix Convention Center.

During his first stop in the Phoenix area, Trump covered a myriad of topics, from China to illegal immigration.

Trump echoed similar statements in his second stop, when he proclaimed “If we don’t stop [illegal immigration], we don’t have a country,” to a crowd of thousands inside an airport hangar at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

Trump has enjoyed strong support in Arizona since his campaign began, from both politicians and the general public alike.

Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWit, who serves as Trump’s campaign chair in Arizona, has said Trump’s business acumen is needed to turn the country around.

And despite doing well in Arizona polls — the latest had him 14 points ahead of rival Ted Cruz — Trump launched a campaign ad featuring his daughter, Ivanka, in the state last week.
